Patricia Sharp

Patricia Ann Dobyns Baum Sharp, 83, of Great Falls, passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at Peace Hospice with her family by her side.At her request, no services are planned. Schnider Funeral Home is handling arrangements.Patricia Pat was born on July 27, 1931 to Daniel and Leona Dobyns in Shelby, Montana. She attended St. Thomas School and went on to graduate from the Columbus School of Nursing in Great Falls. Patricia married Jack Baum in Shelby, MT in 1953 and they had two daughters, Jacqueline Ann and Sharleen Susan. They ran a plumbing shop in Shelby, operated school bus and mail routes, had rental properties and she was a registered nurse at the Toole County Hospital from 1956 to 1974. Jack passed away in 1973.Patricia married Jack Sharp in Cut Bank, MT in 1981 and they moved to Great Falls in 1989. Jack passed away in June, 2011.She tapped danced with the Golden Slippers and played music with several bands in Great Falls. She enjoyed yodeling, ventriloquism, and playing the fiddle, accordion and piano.Patricia is survived by her daughters, Jacqueline Ann (Steve) Carlson of Butte, MT and Sharleen Susan Baum of Mt. Vernon, WA; sisters Danette Dobyns of Kalispell, MT, Jessie Sallin of Lincoln, MT, and Juanita Decker of Washington; brothers Dan Dobyns of Idaho and Bill Dobyns of Shelby, MT; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; and sister Peggy.To my family and friends,Let your sorrow turn to joy for the good times we shared, the problems, the experiences, the tears, the happiness are all treasures I hold dear.I am thankful to have known you and now I move forward to a new exciting experience as I pass from one state to another.
