Olzy O.M. Mabry, 91, died January 3, 2017, at Peace Hospice in Great Falls.O.M. was born March 19, 1925, in Arkansas. He was a WWII Navy veteran who moved to Montana early in his adult life to work for the Soil Conservation Service, a career that spanned over 30 years and took him all over the state of Montana and even once to Hawaii.In 1953, he married Aline Sweet from Louisiana. They later divorced. From that marriage came their children, David of Helena and Lisa (Don) Charters; grandchildren Cory Mabry, Dena Mabry, Rachel (Trevor) Arthur, and Jolene Charters; great-grandchildren Mason Hickey, Everett Hickey, and Lucy Arthur.He was preceded in death by his daughter-in-law, Tracy Mabry, his brother, and his parents.In 1984, he settled in Great Falls where he spent his retirement. He loved hunting with his trained, hunting dogs and he fished in Alaska every July. A trip he made in his van by himself.
