Oliver "Gebo" Ameline

Oliver Gebo Ameline, 84, of Great Falls, passed away on Sunday, January 10, 2016 of natural causes.Oliver Gebo was born on November 24, 1931 in Great Falls, Montana to Louis and Alice (Monroe) Ameline. He married Delores Bruce in Great Falls on October 11, 1968. Later they divorced. He drove truck for various construction companies in Montana. His last 15 years of working was driving mail truck.Gebo is survived by his four sons, Russell Houle of Wichita, KS, Scott Ameline of Great Falls, John and Michael Ameline both of Billings; three daughters, Cheryl (Mike) Galarneau of Billings, Roberta (Glenn) Joles of Platteville, CO and Debra Ameline of Great Falls; 10 grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents; sister Doris Archuleta; and brothers Donald and William Ameline.A visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 14, 2016 at Schnider Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 15, 2016 at Hillcrest Lawn Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery. Schnider Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
