Neva Jackson, 81, passed away peacefully on December 21, 2018 at her home in Great Falls. A memorial service for family and friends, will be held at Sunrise Presbyterian Church, 3809 6th Avenue South, Great Falls, at 2.00 P.M. onWednesday, January 16, 2019. A private inurnment has taken place at Hillcrest Lawn Mausoleum. Neva was born April 22, 1937 in Plentywood, MT to Ena and Fletcher Callahan. She graduated from Great Falls High School and earned a degree in Education from the University of Great Falls. In 1968 Neva married Glenn Jackson and together they purchased a home in Great Falls. Neva was a dedicated elementary teacher in the Great Falls Public School System for 38 years. She was an active member in her church, loved reading and books (especially books for children), and spending time with cherished family members and the many friendships she made through the years. She is survived by two sisters, Lois Bokovoy of Helena and Kay storms of Great Falls; twonephews, Kevin (Brenda) Bokovoy and Ryan (Kristen) Bokovoy; grandnephew, Christopher and niece, Hayley, all of Helena. She was preceded in death by her mother, father and husband. In lieu of flowers memorials in Neva's name can be made to the Sunrise Presbyterian Church at 3809 6th Avenue South, Great Falls, MT 59405 or the Great Falls Public Library at 301 2nd Avenue North, Great Falls, MT 59401.
