Nancy "Hiti" Lee Mitchell

Nancy “HiTi” Lee Mitchell, aged 66, of Great Falls, a retired cartographer, passed away of natural causes on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at Peace Hospice.

A private celebration of her life will be held at a later date.

Nancy was born in Denver, CO on April 5, 1958, to Robert and Mary Mitchell. Although Nancy never married, she was an integral part of her family and her group of long-time friends.

Nancy is survived by her sister, Bobbie Batson; nieces, Kirstin (Anthony) Naves, Kathrine (Ted) Helms, and Ryan Gilstrap (Matt Fuller); nephew, Jason Gilstrap; and six great-nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents. Nancy’s family and friends wish her good fortune as she embarks on her new journey to a place where Progressive Metal music plays forever; where she barbeques steaks with her precious dog, Coolie, whenever she wants; and where she is always surrounded by her beloved cats.
