Myron James Jendro, 91, of Great Falls, a retired foreman with General Mills, died Saturday, November 24, 2012 of natural causes at a local hospital.Services will be held at a later date.Schnider Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.Myron was born in Arthur, North Dakota January 30, 1921 to Isadore and Amanda (Swensan) Jendro.He married Dorothy MacPherson in 1941 and they later divorced. He operated a Mobil gas station in Great Falls before he went to work at General Mills where he later retired. On April 3, 1959 he married Pauline Koch.Myron loved watching baseball and football, his favorite teams being the New York Yankees and the Miami Dolphins. He also loved watching Jimmy Johnson in Nascar, going to the City Bar and visiting his best friend Bob Watson and all his other cronies. He will be dearly missed by all.He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Pauline Jendro of Great Falls; and their one son together, James(Gretchen) Jendro of Great Falls; his children, Bonnie (Charlie) Mekeal of Missoula; Dean (Rhonda) Jendro of Buckley, WA; Linda (Clint) Pederson of Loveland, CO; Gordie (Georgia) Jendro of Great Falls; Terry (Shannon) Jendro of Great Falls; step childrenMike (Amelia) Eller of Billings, Paula (Melvin) Puzon of Silverdale, WA, Paulette (Michael) Munstedtof Spokane, WA; sisters Margie McShane of Fargo, ND and Bev Fleming of Santa Maria, CA; 23 grandchildren; and 34 great grandchildren.He was preceded in death by a great grandson Luke Eller; and nine brothers and sisters.Condolences for the family may be posted at www.schniderfuneralhome.com.
