Muriel Gray

Muriel Elaine (Larson) Gray, 79, of the Portage Apartments, a retired State of Montana social worker and a Registered Musical Therapist, passed away on Tuesday July 16, 2013 at the Peace Hospice House.She was born July 20, 1933, in Glendive to parents Ben and Josephine Larson and was raised in Circle. She graduated from Circle High School and Concordia College (1957) earning degrees in music and education.She raised her daughters in Cedar Rapids, IA, Lewistown and Great Falls. She was active in Faith Lutheran Church and Our Saviors Lutheran Church and enjoyed music, choir, reading, crafts, gardening, parties and travel.Survivors include her daughters Ona Lanning of Great Falls and Denise Peace of Rainier, WA; brothers Orville Larson of Yakima, WA, Robert Larson of Sedona, AZ, Aubrey Larson of Stevensville; sisters Marie Holtman of Poway, CA, and Bernice Langwell of Fort Collins, CO; seven grandchildren, Justin (Michelle), Matthew (Kristin), Ricky, Charlie, Nicole, Callie, and Josie; and five great-grandchildren.Memorials are suggested to Peace Hospice House, 1101 26th St S, Great Falls, MT59405 or Faith Lutheran Church, 3125 5th Ave S, Great Falls, MT59405.
