Minnie L. Pearson, 75 of Meridian, Idaho passed away on October 4, 2019. She was born on November 4, 1943, to Oscar and Emma Pearson in Stanton, North Dakota. Minnie grew up in a big household with many brothers and sisters. Throughout her adult life, Minnie worked as a waitress and a bartender, spending 40 years on and off in the business. She was very social and loved interacting with people. Like her love for people, she loved animals as well. Minnie loved all of her dogs that she had throughout her life. She raised birds and taught them tricks that would make everyone laugh. She was also known for feeding all of the squirrels and birds that would come to her yard throughout the years. Minnie was preceded in death by her parents, Emma and Oscar; daughter, Wanita Germundson; siblings, Maynard Pearson, Anna Swan, Alan Pearson, Kenneth Pearson, Lola Pearson, Doris Pearson, and Budene Pearson; son-in-law, Jim Stotts; and brother-in-law, Edward Moore. She is survived by her son, Joseph Germundson; daughters, Beckie (Scott) Moorehead, Rosa (Brian) Smith, and Robin Stotts; sisters, Delilah Barnes, Helen (Abraham) Salcido, and Emily Moore; brothers, Frank (Jeannie) Pearson and Roger Pearson; 10 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. Minnie was also a loving great-great-grandmother. A celebration of Minnie’s life will be held at the Eagles Lodge on Thursday, October 17, 2019, at 5:00 p.m. Arrangements and cremation were handled in Meridian Idaho.
