Melba Bernice (Morano) Mauseth, 77, of Great Falls, passed away Tuesday, June 20, 2017.Visitation will be Sunday, June 25, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Schnider Funeral Home. A funeral service will be Monday, June 26, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church with burial to follow at Manchester Cemetery. Schnider Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.Melba was born on April 9, 1940 to Dominick and Anna (Arneson) Morano in Shelby, Montana. She attended Power High School. She met and married Richard Mauseth May 3, 1958, and together they had 10 children.She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and volunteered at Head Start. Her favorite football team was the Dallas Cowboys. She was their #1 fan.Melba is survived by her husband, Richard of Great Falls; children Karen (Karl) Schuman of Kalispell, Terry (Ted) Hagen of Castle Rock, CO, Lonnie (Leann) Mauseth, Ric (Gayla) Mauseth, Debbie (Chris Dittus) Pengilly, Tammy (Rick) Becker all of Great Falls, and Darcie (Mark) Wiltse of Sandy Valley, NV; sisters Helen, Shirley, Betty, and Audrey; 22 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her daughter, Janice Mauseth; sons Greg and Brian Mauseth and parents Dominick and Anna MoranoMemorials in Melbas name may be made to the American Kidney Fund.
