Maxine Cavanaugh

Maxine (Pearson) Cavanaugh, 93, of Great Falls, passed away on Thursday, November 21, 2013 at a local assisted living facility.A vigil service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, November 25, 2013 and a funeral liturgy will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 both at St. Louis Catholic Church in Glenrock, WY.Maxine was born on May 30, 1920 in Lomax, Illinois to Richard and Beth Pearson. She was raised in Douglas, Wyoming. Maxine married Joe Cavanaugh on December 25, 1942 in Douglas and they were married until his passing in February of 1975.Maxine is survived by her daughters, Rosann (Jack) Johnson of Great Falls and Mary (Paul) Swanson of Longmont, CO; son Joe Cavanaugh of El Cajon, CA; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Cavanaugh; and granddaughter Kelly Johnson.
