Maryann Dormady

June 25, 1943 — December 22, 2022

Regretfully, our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, Maryann Dormady of Great Falls, MT passed away on December 22, 2022, after a short illness.


Maryann was born in Great Falls on June 25, 1943, and raised in Fairfield, MT by her parents, Dale and Edna Lee. She was one of five children with sisters, Karen, Debbie, Theresa, Sandi, and brother, John. She lived in Fairfield until her graduation from Fairfield High School.
She married Lawrence “Larry” Dormady, on her birthday, in 1961. The couple resided in Great Falls and raised three children, Robyn, Barbara, and Scott. Maryann worked as a bookkeeper for several companies and, in particular, Poulsen's Lumber, for many years until she retired.
After her retirement, the couple were active members of the Eagles Lodge, and enjoyed traveling and visiting their children’s families. She also enjoyed “playing five” at the local casinos.


She was preceded in death by her parents; love of her life husband, Larry; and loving daughter, Robyn Allum.
She is survived by siblings, Karen Zimmerman, Debbie Lawlor, Theresa (Jim) Hadley, Sandi (Ross) Oveson and John Lee; children, Barb (Chuck) Rovreit and Scott Dormady; son-in-law, Ray Allum; grandchildren, Vanessa (Nick) Lang, Logan (Marj) Rovreit, Tanner Rovreit, Troyal (Ty) Dormady, and Nikita (Dylan Imbrescia) Dormady ; great-grandchildren, Avery and Everett Lang, Ivy Rovreit, Xavyer, Bently and Harper Rencurel.

She will be missed by all and forgotten by none.  A celebration of life will be announced at a later date through family and friends on Facebook .
