Mary Schorn

Mary Donna Schorn, 69, of Great Falls, passed away April 13, 2016.Per her request, no services are being planned. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Schnider Funeral Home.Mary Donna was born January 1, 1947 in Warren, Ohio, the youngest child of Edward and Julie Howe. She was a wife and mother, as well as an artist. She lived in several different locations throughout her life, but came to love the southwest best especially, Scottsdale, Arizona where she resided for nine years, prior to moving to Great Falls.She moved to Great Falls with her husband 10 years ago to be near her grandchildren. The unique role model she presented to them, up to the time of her death, will serve them well throughout their lives. We have been Mary Donned, Donned, as her granddaughter Grace likes to describe the effect she has had on all of them.Mary is survived by her husband of 46 years, William Schorn of Great Falls; son Scott and granddaughter Lulu of Whidbey Island, WA; daughter Sarah, granddaughter Grace and grandson Augustus of Great Falls; and her older sister, Susan Pratt of Grand Rapids, MI.
