Mary Mills

Mary Alice (Scott) Mills, 62, of Great Falls, passed away after a long-fought battle with Pancreatic Cancer on Tuesday, September 19, 2017. She was surrounded by her loving family.Mary was born October 21, 1954 in Great Falls, Montana to Lester T. and Bette (Hamilton) Scott. She attended Great Falls High School, and graduated in 1973. She briefly worked at the Import Depot before starting a long career at D.A. Davidson Companies that lasted over 39 years.On October 12, 1974, Mary married Mark Calbick, with whom she had her son, Ryan Calbick. Mark and Mary later divorced. On April 9, 1988, she married Bruce Mills, and they were married for 29 years at the time of her passing.Her hobbies included gardening, camping, taking care of her dogs, shopping, and most of all, spending time with her family whom she loved most of all. Mary was loved by all that knew her, and would spend endless hours worrying about the troubles of everyone she loved.Mary is survived by her husband, Bruce Mills; son Ryan (Casey) Calbick; stepdaughters Lindsey (Jason) Haney and Katie (Maurice) Cashman; five beloved grandchildren; three brothers, Joe (Cindy) Scott, Ken Scott, and Mark (Michelle) Scott; her sister, Leslie Rozett; numerous beloved nieces and nephews; her uncle, Don (Sharon) Hamilton; aunt Audrie Ham; and cousins Greg (Donna) Hamilton, Steve (Ilene) Hamilton, Stan (Sandy) Hamilton, Dave (Sandy) Dickman, and Bernie Dickman.Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Bette (Hamilton) Scott and a cousin, Jerry Dickman.Memorial service will be held Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at Hillcrest Lawn Memorial Chapel, 1410 13th St. S., at 10:00 a.m. Schnider Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Research Institute or the Humane Society of Great Falls, in Marys memory.
