Mary Gina Virginia Marnin, 81, of Great Falls, a retired homemaker, passed away on Tuesday, May 22, 2012 of natural causes at a local care facility.A vigil will be held at Hillcrest Lawn Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at 7:00 p.m.A funeral liturgy will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church on Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at 2:00 p.m., with burial of ashes to immediately follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery.A reception will then follow at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.Schnider Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.Mary was born the youngest of four children to Albert and Anna (Lepper) Dwyer in Seattle, Washington on June 21, 1930.She graduated from St. Marys High School in Great Falls in 1948.She married Bill Marnin in 1950, they later divorced in 1974.Aside from being a dedicated homemaker, she also worked in various capacities for the Columbus Hospital, Nessan Family Farms and St. Judes Catholic Church.Mary was very active in her Catholic Church, living in Great Falls, Billings, Havre and Edmonds, Washington.During the past fifteen years, she especially enjoyed her time with lifelong friends in Great Falls with daily visits and attending mass.Her greatest passion was raising her and Bills four adopted children.Mary is survived by her sons, Mike (Marilyn) Marnin of Billings and Pat Marnin (Janice Gearhart) of Wolf Creek; daughters Jeanine London of Wolf Creek and Mary Beth (Philip) Anderson of Bear, Delaware; her brother, Bud (Jean) Dwyer of Great Falls; grandchildren John, Thomas and Tim Marnin, Jim London, Caleb (Jenny) Anderson, Jordan (Megan) Anderson and Kelsi Anderson; and two great-grandchildren.She is preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Anna Lepper Dwyer; her sister, Dorothy Weisbrich; and her brother, Father David Dwyer.In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 409 13th Street South, Great Falls, Montana.Condolences may be left for the family at www.schniderfuneralhome.com.
