Mary Josephine Besich

Mary Josephine Besich, 95, of Great Falls, passed away on Sunday, December 30, 2018 of natural causes at Peace Hospice surrounded by her family. A private family memorial service will be Friday, January 4, 2019. Schnider Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. Mary was born on March 29, 1923 in Black Eagle, Montana to Charles and Ljubica Antonich. Ina quiet way she blessed many with her kindness, love, and grace. Never will she be forgotten, forever she will be missed and always she will be loved. Mom lived by the words of 1 Corinthians 13:4 – “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it is not proud… She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 63 years, Thomas Besich; parents Charles and Ljubica; brother Scotty Antonich; and sister Anne Odegard. Mary is survived by her sons, Ronald J. (Sheryl) Besich of Fort Shaw and Allan W. (Marilyn) Besich of Great Falls; daughter Carol A. Champlain of Bradenton, FL; sister Rosie (Bill) Barr of Great Falls; six grandchildren, Kim (Bill) Harding, Mark (Jenn) Besich, Curtis (Trista) Besich, Jennifer (Jon) Green, Nathan (Theresa) Besich, and Dereck (Brittainy) Besich; and 11 great-grandchildren, Mason and Bryson Pippon, Madeline and Megan Besich, Robert Besich, Nathan and Sara Green, Bodie and Berklie Besich, and Jordi and Harli Besich.
