Martha Florence Schlimgen

Martha (Cain) Schlimgen, born on January 22, 1923 in Mitchell, South Dakota, to the late Helen Cain, passed away at age 95 on July 7, 2018 in Great Falls, Montana. Martha graduated from Notre Dame Junior College and Academy in 1942. Martha was the beloved wife of the late Francis Schlimgen. She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Schlimgen. Martha is survived by her sons, William Schlimgen and Joseph Schlimgen of Great Falls; and daughters, Elizabeth Senff of Tucson AZ, Janice Grimm of Great Falls, Margaret Safken of Cascade, Lynda Osterman of Chester, and Carol Roggenkamp of Gautier MS. Martha loved travel, card games, candy making, fishing, needlework, and bingo. She was involved in Catholic Daughters and was a volunteer with R.S.V.P. for 22 years. Donations in Martha's name to American Heart Association are welcome and appreciated. Friends and family are welcome to attend the rosary service on Wednesday, July 18 at 9:30 a.m. with a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Spirit Catholic Parish 201 44th St S, Great Falls, Montana, 59405. After the funeral, the graveside internment will take place and a reception follows that at Holy Spirit Catholic Parish.
