Marjorie Andrus

Marjorie Lorraine Andrus, 76, of Great Falls, passed away Saturday, June 27, 2015 at a local care facility.A memorial service for Marjorie will be held Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Hillcrest Lawn Memorial Chapel. Schnider Funeral Home is handling arrangements.Marjorie was born February 4, 1939 in Minot, North Dakota to Emil and LaVerne Kolobakken. Marjorie was raised and attended schooling in Douglas, North Dakota. She was one of five children.In 1959, Marjorie married Thomas Brummett in California during their union they became parents to seven children. Thomas and Marjorie later parted ways. In 1988, Marjorie married Stephen Andrus Sr. in Idaho.Marjorie was a waitress and nurses aid and her last job before retirement was a meat cutter and wrapper for Buttreys food. She worked there for 18 years.She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, puzzles, fishing and loved spending time with family and friends.Marjorie is survived by her daughters Diane Johns, Janet Thompson and Cheryl Hannant; sons James Brummett and Brian Brummett; stepson Stephen Andrus Jr.; sister Shirley Peterson; brothers Floyd Kolobakken, Ronald Kolobakken and Richard Kolobakken; ten grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather; two stepsons; and one grandson.
