Maribell Jane (Cooper) Cambron, 87, of, Great Falls passed away on Friday, July 10, 2015 at Highgate Memory Care Facility where she was so wonderfully taken care of for the past 3+ yrs.Maribell was born on Nov 2, 1927 in Helena, Montana to Jim and Dora Cooper. Her grade school education was in Clancy, Montana where she was involved in 4-H and track. She attended Great Falls High School before going to work for East Air Force Base (MAFB) repairing airplanes during World War II. Later she enrolled in Telegrapher School and began working for the Great Northern Railroad where she met another telegrapher, Ray Cambron. They were married Oct. 4, 1945 and shared a life for 62 years, until Rays passing in 2007.Maribell held many jobs throughout her years. She was a cook at the Choteau House in Ft. Benton and housekeeper for the Grand Union Hotel in Ft Benton. She did childcare and sewing in her home before becoming a Great Falls school bus driver in the 70s.Her hobbies were crocheting, embroidery, bingo, bowling, visiting with her friends and spending time at their cabin in the Lincoln area. She supported and stayed involved with her grandchildren and great grandchildren over the years and just enjoyed being with family. In her younger years she loved to dance. Lawrence Welk was her favorite TV show. She supported Dad in all his various organizations while living in Ft Benton, Belt, Havre and Great Falls. After his retirement in 1981, they moved back to Great Falls. She took care of all of Dads needs in his last years.Maribell was preceded in death by her parents, Jim & Dora Cooper; brother, Jack Cooper; and sister, Margaret (Cooper) Higgins.She is survived by her children James R. (Lynda) Cambron of Boise, Terri L. (John) Sivumaki of Great Falls, Christina C. (Scott) McIntosh of Great Falls; six grandchildren, Cory (Lori) Sivumaki, K.C. Sivumaki, Nathan Wenaas, Sarah (Duane) Sanborn, TJ (Michelle) Cambron, Doug (Chelsea) McIntosh; nine great grandchildren, Kayli, Ashlyn, Makenna and Aaliyah Sivumaki, Gage Cambron, Kadence and Tristan Sanborn, Jazmyn and Kalmin Wenaas; sister-in-law Dorothy Cooper of Lolo; and seven nephews Wayne Flemmer, Gordon Cooper, Ted Cooper, Gary Cooper, Jackie Cooper, Bill Higgins, and Patrick Higgins.A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on July 20, 2015 at Hillcrest Lawn Memorial Chapel.
