Maria Spezio

Maria Jesus Spezio, 73, formerly of Great Falls, currently residing in Nevada, passed away on December 10, 2015 in Nevada.A funeral liturgy will be held on Friday, December 18, 2015 at noon at St. Anns Cathedral. Burial will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery. Schnider Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.Maria was born on April 15, 1947 in Terceira Azores, Portugal. She was the daughter of Jose Sousa Aguiar and Maria Piedade Moniz. In 1976, she came to the states and took care of the Fellows children, living in Havre briefly and then coming to Great Falls. She was employed as a cook at Sheffies and Eddies Supper Club before going to work at the Malmstrom AFB Officers Club for over 20 years where she retired from. She became a US citizen in 2000.She was married to Lawrence Spezio for 11 years.Maria was a faithful member of St. Anns Cathedral.She had a lifetime relationship with Michael Fellows of Montana; Steve and Susan Fellows of New Mexico; Jon and Beckie of Oregon; Robb and Carla Fellows of Nevada and all of their children. She is also survived by her sisters, Maria Lucia Meneses and Maria Livramento Toste both of Terceira Azores, Portugal, Maria Fatima Silva and Maria Predade Meneses both of Calgary, Alberta; nine nieces and nephews; and ten great nieces and nephews.
