Margaret L. Wildin, 100, a former civil service secretary, passed away of natural causes Monday, July 2, 2012 at a local care facility.Visitation will be held at Hillcrest Lawn Memorial Chapel on Monday, July 9, 2012, from 3 pm to 5pm with a rosary service immediately following.The funeral liturgy will be held on Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Father Lou Krauth presiding.Interment will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery. Schnider Funeral Home is handling arrangements.Mom was born on February 14, 1912 at home in Sand Coulee to Frank and Mary Preputin.She was the next to last of 10 siblings who have preceded her in death.Mom graduated from Great Falls High School in 1930. She married Lyle Dean in June of 1931. They raised three boys in Great Falls; Donald, Gerald and Dennis. Lyle and Margaret were divorced in March of 1951.Mom went to work at MAFB and served as a civil engineering secretary from many years. She met Trevor Wildin while they were both working at MAFB. They were married in August 1965. She later transferred to the FAA. They moved to Kalispell after they both retired from Civil Service, where they lived until Trevor passed away in 2009. Mom returned to Great Falls and resided at Highgate Senior Living until she left us on July 2, 2012.She leaves behind her three sons; three nieces; nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.Her family extends a special thanks to the great staff at Highgate for all of their care and help for Mom over the past two and a half years that she resided there. Also thanks to Hospice for their care and help.The family requests memorials be made in Margarets name to a charity of ones choice.
