Private inurnment will take place at a later date. Schnider Funeral Home is handling arrangements. She was born Margaret Christine Tempel to Jacob and Isabella Tempel in Power, Montana on May 28, 1919 the youngest of 11 children and she lived to be the oldest at death. The family relocated to a farm on Gore Hill when Margaret was a young girl. She married the love of her life, Andrew Kakalecik, on July 7, 1962 and shared 51 wonderful years together.Margaret worked as a clerk at Safeway and Buttrey Foods for many years. After she and Andy retired, they traveled to Rome, England, and Ireland as well as within the United States. She was dedicated to her husband, family and the church. She volunteered at St. Josephs Catholic Church, Benefis Hospital and Park Place Nursing home.Margaret was a favorite with her 55+ nieces and nephews and was a godmother to many of them, all of whom have a story or two about her. She loved having a Bud or two with them. She will be dearly missed by us all.As for her passing, cousin Jito (Clint) said it best, her soft departure is so fitting, so human, so dignified, knowing and accepting that she had been called. May we all have the grace and acceptance when our time comes. May they both rest in peace. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, siblings, and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Margaret and Andys name to Peace Hospice, 1101 26th St S, Great Falls, MT 59405.Condolences for the family may be posted online at www.schniderfuneralhome.com.
