Magnus Patrick Magnuson, 67, of Wolf Point, Montana, passed away on Monday, September 30, 2019 at home after a long illness. Patrick was born to Melvin and Eunice Magnuson in Wolf Point, Montana. Although he lived his childhood in Poplar, he remembered, with great fondness spending his youth in Augusta and the Diamond Bar X. A man as unique as his name and just as strong, Magnus ‘Patrick’ approached all things with great tenacity. Whether it be an engine, his children, or an ice cold Miller Lite. He was stubborn, knowledgeable, incredibly generous, and not easily bothered. He traveled through life with his most famous, all-encompassing catch phrase “I guess”. Pat’s humor lit up a room and could truly make the coldest of hearts laugh. When he was clean shaven his round, white face earned him the nickname ‘Biscuit’. As a smile swept across his face, his biscuit cheeks piled up— confirming the given name was perfect. Pat was a Montana man through and through. His work ethic and know-how was unmatched. He successfully started and retired from his own business, while constantly helping others see their success as well. As a heavy machine mechanic, he took great pride being able to breathe life into anything with a motor. Pat’s mechanical talents could be seen in the many vehicles he collected, cared for and hot-rodded. Preceded in death by his father, Melvin; and his mother, Eunice, Patrick is survived by brother, Michael Magnuson and his wife, Cheri; sister, Marilyn Osterman and her husband, Dick; sister, Mariann Magnuson and her husband, Roger Rader as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He is remembered lovingly by daughter, Jamie Magnuson Goode, her two children Maryah Necessary and Tyrese Goode; son, Melvin ‘Landon’ Magnuson, his wife Kimberley and their children Magnus ‘Connor’ and Montgomery Magnuson; son, Marshall Magnuson and his wife Jaylene. A cowboy to the end, Pat rode out in a snow storm and will forever stay in the hearts of all who loved him. At his request, no service will be held.
