Madeline Bidwell

Madeline G. Bidwell, 93, of Great Falls, passed away, early Easter Sunday morning, March 27, 2016.Per her request, no services are being planned. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Schnider Funeral Home.Madeline was born Madeline Gertrude Robinson in Detroit, Michigan on August 7, 1922. She married Ralph Bidwell Jr. in 1946. They moved to Great Falls in 1963. He passed away March 2004.She was the mother of three children, Roger Bidwell of Great Falls, Cheryl Perkins of Syracuse, NY, and Troy Bidwell of Valley Springs, CA. Grandmother to Matthew Perkins age 24 of Albany, NY and Nathaniel Bidwell age 9 of Valley Springs, CA.Madeline supported the interests and talents of her children throughout her life. As an energetic participant, she shared in their development and love for the arts, outdoors, and a healthy, physically active lifestyle. She ran many 5K runs into her mid 80s. She lived life with a young heart and strong will.A private service will be held atop a mountain, where she frequently found peace and happiness.
