Lyle Carte

Lyle W. Carte Sr., 82, of Great Falls, a retired pharmacist and truck driver, died of natural causes on Thursday, April 25, 2013 at Benefis West.At his request, there will be no services held.Schnider Funeral Home is handling arrangements.Lyle was born on July 12, 1930 in Great Falls, Montana to Joseph and Edyth (Compton) Carte.After retiring as a pharmacist for Buttrey/Osco, he obtained his CDL and drove truck and later a school bus for Big Sky.Lyle is survived by his children, Lyle Carte Jr. and Kathy (Randy) Ward all of Great Falls, Thomas Carte and Daniel Carte both of Missoula, and Elizabeth Schwartz of Great Falls; eight grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lee (Winjum) Carte.Condolences for the family may be posted online at www.schniderfuneralhome.com.
