Lydia Marie Lindsay, 100, passed away on February 11, 2018. A celebration of life will be held at Lydia’s all-time favorite restaurant for over 50 years, the 3D International Restaurant upstairs on June 16, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Lunch to follow downstairs. Lydia was born in Agawan, Montana to Jacob and Rosa Trost on January 30, 1918. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Orval Lindsay; siblings Hilmer, Olga, Reuben, Hilda (Johnnie), Alvin, Harold, and Albert. She is survived by her nieces, Rena (Delos) Putz, Gloria Goodrich, Melanie Trost, Judy (Jackie) Dean, and Dawn (John) Campion; nephews Del (Joan) Trost, Doug (Kate) Trost, David (Beverly) Trost, and Roger Trost; and sister-in-law Dorothy Trost. Lydia loved baseball, especially the Minnesota Twins. She enjoyed watching Wheel of Fortune, reading the daily paper, and John Wayne and her home. She was strong willed and independent and took care of herself in her own home as long as possible. She had some special friends, Kelly Lawson, Sheila Conlin, Bob Lemoine, Robin and Rick Turley, Glen Kincaid, and Marie Genderson. Lydia died peacefully at Missouri River Manor on February 11, 2018, shortly after her 100th birthday. According to Lydia’s sister, Johnnie this entitles her to the “Last One Standing” honor.
