Lucille Sowa

Lucille Agnes Sowa, 91, passed away at a local care facility on Monday, April 18, 2016 with her daughter at her side.A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at Hillcrest Lawn Memorial Chapel. Schnider Funeral Home is handling arrangements.Lucille was born on November 21, 1924 at the old Columbus Hospital in Great Falls, Montana. The family lived in Collins, MT and Lucille attended schools in Power. She was employed at Ideal Laundry, Als Food Market, Super Save, and then for Safeways, but her last job was at St. Vincent DePaul. Lucille married Arthur A. Sowa on November 1, 1954 in Coeur dAlene, ID. He passed away on February 27, 2007.She was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary for 31 years and danced with a group called The Twinkle Toes Dancing Clowns. Lucille collected salt and pepper shakers and loved doing yard work at her house that they owned since 1969. She enjoyed going to the cabin with her family at Lincoln.Lucille is survived by her daughters, Monica and Margaret Sowa of Great Falls; sister Helen Hannum of Big Sandy; and numerous nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Sowa; son Eddie Rouse; 3 sisters and 2 brothers.
