Lucille Lou Jane Potter, 80, of Great Falls, passed away of natural causes November 5, 2015.A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at Highland Cemetery. Schnider Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.Lou was born April 12, 1935 in Choteau, Montana to Edwin and Lillian Anderson. Lou was the third of four children. She met and married her love, Richard Potter Sr., on January 6, 1951 in Choteau. They had three children. The first few years of their lives together they traveled extensively due to Richards job. They lived in Worland, Wyoming and Guatemala, Central America coming back to the United States living in Kahlotus and Pasco, WA and Libby and Choteau MT, finally settling in Great Falls.She is survived by her brother, Ray (Arlene) Anderson of Choteau; children, Michael, Richard Jr (Donna) and Debbie (Larry), 11 grandchildren Mathew (Sara), Jamie (John), Rochelle (Billy), Amanda (Bo), Jephrey (Grace), Dusty (Kori), Travis, Paul, Cody (Heather), and Calli; 12 great grandchildren, and her sweet little dog Tink, who she loved and adored so much.She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Potter Sr.; parents; brother Bobby; sister Elaine; and granddaughter Lindsey Jo Nickel.The family would like to thank The Beehive Homes for their wonderful care and love to our Mom, as well as Benefis nursing staff and the doctors for their wonderful care.She Did It Her Way
