Louise Mapston Kujala, 75, of Great Falls, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many, passed away Friday, March 18, 2016 of natural causes at Benefis Healthcare.The memorial service will be held Thursday, March 24, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Hillcrest Lawn Memorial Chapel. Schnider Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.Louise was born on April 14, 1940 in Great Falls and raised on her fathers ranch in Giffin Coulee, Stockett, Montana. She attended Centerville "public" Schools.She married her high school sweetheart, Richard L. Kujala on June 8, 1957. Louise was a long time employee of US Bank as a personal banker and teller supervisor.After retiring, she found her passion for travel with Laird Leisure Travel as a tour coordinator. She enjoyed traveling the world with her husband and numerous friends and family.Louise greatly enjoyed all things family, camping trips to Carlsons, the NFR, watching her granddaughters participate in all sporting events, and loved her family get togethers. She was active at the Centerville Senior Center, the Montana Cowgirls Association, and the Sand Coulee Methodist Church, where she and Richard served for many years.She is survived by her husband, Richard Kujala of Great Falls; daughters Susan (Bill) McCullough of North Carolina and Patty (Earl) Vielle of Sand Coulee; five granddaughters, Morgan, Kylie, Madison, Ciara, and Cecilia; sisters Beatrice Davis and Mervine Yurek; and a large group of wonderful friends all across the globe.Louise was preceded in death by her parents, Mervin and Rose Mapston and sister Verna Mae Hall.
