Lorraine Joyce (Steffani) Grubb, 73, of Great Falls, passed away on December 27, 2012 ofheart failurein Surprise, Arizona.A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at Hillcrest Lawn Memorial Chapel.Schnider Funeral Home is handling arrangements.Lorraine was born on October 16, 1939 in Wallace, Idaho to Frank and Ester (Bostic) Steffani. The family moved to Seattle, Washington and then to Great Falls, Montana, where she started elementary school.In 1948, her father, Frank bought a farm south of Ulm, where she completed elementary school and went on to graduate from Cascade High School in 1957.On September 21, 1957, Lorraine married Floyd (Hank) Grubb and lived in numerous areas of Montana as her husband pursued his career with the Montana Department of Highways. Their union was blessed with the birth of three sons, Michael, Steven, and Ronald.During her working years she was employed by the Singer Sewing Company and as purchasing agent for Glacier State Electric in Great Falls.Lorraine was a talented artist whose wood carvings, drawings and paintings, decorated her home and were admired by all who viewed them.In her retirement years, she and her husband established a second home in Arizona and spent many winters enjoying the company of new and old friends and family.Lorraine is survived by her husband of 56 years, Floyd Hank Grubb; sons, Michael (Dawn) Grubb and Steven (Kelley) Grubb; sister, Delores Burnaby all of Great Falls; six grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her mother, father, and son Ronald.Condolences for the family may be posted online at www.schniderfuneralhome.com.
