Lorna Marie (Sather) Lacey

Lorna Marie (Sather) Lacey of Great Falls passed away on July 23, 2024, at the age of 73.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, August 2, 2024, at Schnider Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 3, 2024, with visitation one hour prior at 9:00 a.m., both at Hillcrest Lawn Memorial Chapel. The burial will follow at Highland Cemetery.

Lorna was born on July 13, 1951, in Great Falls to Leon and Ada Sather. She graduated from Great Falls High School in 1969. Following graduation, on September 9, 1969, she married her high school sweetheart, Roger Lacey. On January 4, 1971, her son, Dusty, was born. He was the light of their lives. When he passed away, hetook a big part of her heart. She could never get over his passing. She loved him so much.

She was a caring and passionate person, helping everyone she could. She will be missed by everyone whose life she touched.

Lorna was preceded in death by her son, Dusty; parents; two sisters, Jody and Carol; as well as aunts and uncles. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Roger; brothers, Howard (Linda) and Robert (Colleen), both from Great Falls, and Art Sather from Livingston; and sister-in-law, Cheryl Hofland.
