Lloyd Nels Hagen

Lloyd Nels Hagen, 83, of Great Falls, passed away Sunday, September 23, 2018. Visitation will be Thursday, September 27, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Lawn Memorial Chapel. The funeral service will be Friday, September 28, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church. Schnider Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. Lloyd was born on September 4, 1935 in Great Falls to Martin and Hazel (Larson) Hagen. He attended the College of Great Falls and was in the US Navy Reserves. He worked for Dairy Dell, Montana Hardware, and Treasure Belt Distributing. He was an insurance agent for Prudential and Farm Bureau Insurance before he retired. He was a member of the Sons of Norway and Our Savior’s Lutheran Church. He loved being with his family and friends whether he was cooking or playing cards. He is survived by his daughter Lori (Lisa Rippetoe) of Great Falls; son Eric (Jeni Gallager) Hagen of Astoria, OR; and grandchild Luka Oe Suubi Hagen. Lloyd was preceded in death by his wife, Jane Hagen; sister Clara Converse; and parents Hazel and Martin Hagen. In lieu of flowers, donations in Lloyd’s name may be made to Easter Seals Goodwill or the Maclean Animal Adoption Center.
