Linda Cambre

Linda M. Cambre, 63, a homemaker of Great Falls, passed away Saturday, Feb. 25, 2012 at Peace Hospice of COPD.A memorial service will be held at a later date.Schnider Funeral Home is handling arrangements.Linda is survived by her longtime partner Phil Brod of Great Falls; his children Cyndi Baker and her children Rachelle, Ariel and Toriah all of Great Falls; Marian Strickland and her children Carly and Tierra all of Great Falls and Jim Brod and his daughter Cassidy of Minneapolis, MN; Lindas son Robert Weinenger of San Diego, CA; a brother Dave McKraith of Hutchinson, MN and several other brothers and sisters in Minnesota and four grandchildren.Linda was born Sept, 1, 1948 in Farmington, MN.She grew up and attended school in Foley, MN.She later lived in San Diego and moved to Montana where she met Phil Brod in Great Falls who became her longtime partner.Linda loved animals especially cats and supported every animal rescue program. She had a special love for her prize cat Hotshot. Phil was an amateur radio operator and Linda decided to join Phil as an amateur radio operator for the past 15 years.She was preceded in death by three daughters, two in infancy.
