Leroy Frank

Leroy Frank, 76 of Great Falls, a retired naval reserve and Air National Guard veteran and mail carrier died of pre- leukemia on Thursday, July 5, 2012 at a local hospital. At his request no services are planned. Cremation will take place with private burial of ashes at Highland Cemetery. Schnider Funeral Home is handling arrangements.Leroy was born to Clarence and Mary (Hames) Frank on January 17, 1936 in Great Falls. He spent his entire life in Great Falls and worked as a mail carrier for the Great Falls Postal Service for 31 years, from 1964 to 1995. He was in the Navel Reserves for eight years and in the Air Nation Guard for two years.Leroy enjoyed the outdoors especially hunting and fishing.He loved spending time with his friends playing pool and poker, golfing and traveling.He married Carol Kolski and they were together for 47 years until she passed away. Frank is survived by his son, Steven Frank of Great Falls; daughters Toni (Rocky) Zahara, and Christy (Willard) Pavao both of Great Falls; a sister Cindy (Robert) Rioux of Great Falls;nine grandchildren, Missy Frank, Jason Frank, Nicholas Frank, Jamie Frank, Rick Rardon, Terri San Agustin, Joey Zahara, Jenny (Mark Porter)Ribich and Kelsey Johns and 15 great grandchildren. In addition he is survived by two cousins Nancy (JoJo) Lanier who was like a sister and Penny Swan.He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol; father; mother; daughter Terri Ribich and a son Randy Frank.
