Laurie Ann Trotman

Laurie Trotman passed away in Great Falls on April 7, 2023. She was 66.  Laurie was born in Great Falls on November 20, 1956, to Wayne and Myrna Livingston. She attended CMR High School and Great Falls VoTech.

Laurie married Marv Merkel who she later divorced. She later married Roy Trotman and was to him until he died. She worked as a medical receptionist for Medical Readiness at Malmstrom Air Force Base as well as a Head Start paraeducator. Her interests included her family, landscaping, and great pride in her home. Her biggest joy was being a “Hammie” to her grandchildren. She took pride in all their accomplishments, and who they had become.

Laurie was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Roy. She is survived by her daughters, Jodi (Jim) Auth, Carli Cockrell, Debi (Joe) Davis; son, Michael Trotman; sister, Jami (Alex) Rivera; brothers, Casey (Jaimie) Livingston and Brad (Diane) Livingston; three grandchildren, Spencer Auth, Avery Auth, and Royale Trotman; one great-grandson, Huckleberry Trotman; and many nieces and nephews.

There will be a celebration of life on April 15, 2023, at Living Grace Church at 1:00 p.m.
