Laurie Schedel

Laurie Schedel, 55, of Lewistown and formerly of Great Falls, passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2017.A funeral service will be Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Hillcrest Lawn Memorial Chapel with burial to follow at the Belt Cemetery. Schnider Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.Laurie was born on September 14, 1961 to Wayne and Rose (Sivumaki) Jacobson in Great Falls. She married Fred Schedel and worked as an attendant for a daycare provider.She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved all animals, especially cats and her dog, Jasper. She enjoyed fishing and dancing. She was a computer nut and avid googler. She enjoyed the simple things in life, to include rides in the country, anything patriotic, and a history buff.Laurie enjoyed spending time with her three grandkids. She was very social, but those in her circle knew her best. You always knew where you stood with her.She is survived by her parents; husband Fred Schedel; son Kyle Schedel; daughters Jessey and Jammie Jacobson; sisters Karla Merenz and Kim Marie Jacobson; grandchildren Kaydence, Aidyn, and Kale; and several nieces and nephews.Laurie was preceded in death by her brother, Wayne Jacobson Pal Jr.; grandparents; stepmom Penny Jacobson; and stepdad Michael Duff.
