Larry Ricks Sr.

Larry J. Ricks Sr., 65, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, December 31, 2015.Larry was born on August 22, 1950 in Starke, Florida to Joseph and Alma (Todd) Ricks. He graduated high school and had an associates degree in accounting. He worked as a salesman for farm implements.Larry enjoyed tinkering and spending time with his family. He was well liked by those around him.Larry is survived by his daughters, Shelby Fake of Yulee, FL and Brittney Ricks of Vaughn; four grandchildren; ex-wife, Elizabeth Ricks; brothers Joe Ricks and Robert Baldree; and sisters Sylvia Wheeler and Doris Overstreet.He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Alma Ricks; sister Linda Gorden; and son Larry Joe Ricks, Jr.Visitation will be held at 12:00 noon followed by a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 7, 2015 at Hillcrest Lawn Memorial Chapel.
