Larry Posey

Larry E. Posey, 65 of Clancy, MT, passed away peacefully on January 17, 2015.He was born on November 23, 1949 in Fargo, ND to Don and Nelda Posey. He graduated from C.M. Russell High School in 1967. Soon, thereafter, he went to Bremerton, WA where he was accepted into apprenticeship at the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard. He spent a year there before joining the Army. He spent time in Vietnam and Cambodia. After three years he left the Army and returned to the Naval Shipyard. He spent 38 years there and upon retirement he returned to Montana.He is survived by his mother, Nelda (Don) Salonen; son Travis (Beth) Posey of Bismarck, ND; daughter Darcy (Dave) Iltzsch of San Antonio, TX; brothers Jim (Lori) Posey of Idaho Falls, ID and Doug Posey of Yakima, WA; sister Linda Posey of Chehalis, WA and grandchildren Cody, Emily, Zachery, Trevor, Trace, Hayden and Tyson.Larry was preceded in death by his father, Don Posey; and sister Connie Posey.
