Larry Moe Krone, 68, of Augusta, Montana, loving father, grandfather, best friends, uncle, rancher and devoted fisherman, and loved by many, passed away March 16, 2016, surrounded by loved ones.Celebration of life will be held on Sunday, March 20, 2016 at the Augusta Youth Center at 1:00 p.m.Larry was born on May 16, 1947 in Billings, Montana to Ray and Ruth Krone. He was raised on the ranch in Augusta with his brother, Lance and sister, Valerie. Larry moved to Augusta from Hardin, Montana as a young boy.Larry served in the United States Army for two years, and then went back to the ranch, where he spent precious time with family and friends riding, fishing and hunting.Larry is survived by his parents, Ray and Ruth Krone; his best friend Joan Hicks; ex-wife Cindie Krone; daughters Shaylin (Shad) Heckman and Tera Krone; son Chase (Alissa) Krone; brother Lance (Lennie) Krone; sister Valerie (Dave) Isakson; grandchildren Austin and Luke Batson, Hunter Heckman, Maddison and MaKenna Krone; nephews Lorne and Logan Krone, Broady, Josh and J.C. Isakson and Hank Webb; nieces Sarah Peterson and Callie Allen.Larry could catch a fish out of a mud puddle as that was one of his many gifts. Anyone who knew, Larry, knew he was compassionate and had a heart of gold. Larry will always be loved and greatly missed. Larry will also be missed by the other eight Hicks children and Bob and Jack Waltari Fishing Buddies.
