Larry Hawthrone, 71, of Great Falls and Yuma, Arizona, died unexpectedly on July 9, 2013.A celebration of life will be held at the Side Track Lounge, 3653 9th Ave. No., Great Falls, Montana, starting at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, July 12, 2013.Schnider Funeral Home is handling arrangements.Larry was born on February 25, 1942 in Natl City, California to Glenn and Georgia Hawthorne.After, the family moved to Montana in 1954. Larry graduated in 1959 from Glasgow High School.He worked as an ironworker for his father at Hawthorne Steele Company in Great Falls until he retired.He married Randon K. Kjelstrup in 1960.They had two children, Tana Marie Hawthorne, and Larry Glenn Hawthorne.Larry had two more children, daughters Jorgia Rae Hawthorne and Morghan Glynn Hawthorne. He took care of them 24/7 for 10 years.Until his death, Jorgie and Morghan were all he cared about.Larry is survived by his daughters, Tana Marie Loring of Cut Bank, Jorgia Rae Hawthorne and Morghan Glynn Hawthorne, both of Great Falls; son Larry Glenn Hawthorne of Phoenix; sister Dyanna Goldheizen of Kalispell; brother Jack Hawthorne of Nampa, ID; grandsons Dustin (Ashley) Peres and Jace Loring; granddaughter Katelin (Nolan) Conway; great-granddaughter Addison Marie Conway; numerous cousins; and special friends, Paul Rasmussen and Dick Thorp.He was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn and Georgia Hawthorne; grandparents John and Addie Hawthorne and Ozella Smith; numerous aunts and uncles; and sister-in-law Markey Hawthorne.He will be missed by many.Memorials in Larrys name may be made at the Montana Federal Credit Union, 15 14th Str.
