Larry D. Geske, 76, of Mesa, AZ and formerly of Great Falls, passed away in Mesa, Thursday, May 28, 2015.A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church. Schnider Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.Larry was born January 14, 1939, to Clifford and Lura (Allison) Geske. He grew up in the Talmage area and graduated from Chapman High School with the class of 1956.Larry earned a degree in mechanical engineering from Kansas State University in 1961, and his MBA from the University of Montana in 1988. He retired as president and CEO of Energy West in Great Falls, MT and had served as president of LAMMS Corp., a family land development project.He had served on many boards and was a past president of the Great Falls Dodgers Minor League Baseball Club. Larry was a private pilot and loved to fish, spent time with family and friends, participate in and watch baseball and garden.Larry is survived by his wife, Rosa Geske of Mesa, AZ; son Michael (Sue) Geske of Abu Dhabi, UAE; granddaughters Erika Geske of Tacoma, WA and Ali Geske of Rochester, WA; step-son Joe LeGer; step-daughter Jan (Ron) Cousino of Mesa, AZ; daughter-in-law Lynette Geske of Helena, MT; step-grandsons Joey LeGer of Mesa, AZ and Jeryl Bunk of MT; great-grandson Brody Asher Watson; siblings Joan (Glen) Dawson, Jan (Gary) Yocum of Abilene, TX, Terri (Redge) Albrecht of rural Herington, KS, and Tim (Kathy) Geskeof rural Enterprise, KS; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Lura Geske; first wife, Sandy Swaim Geske; and son Matthew Geske.Memorials in Larrys name may be made to Gold Canyon Methodist Church, 6640 S.
