Landon Wanke

Landon Augustine Wanke, 7 months, of Great Falls, our little angel, passed away on Wednesday, September 24, 2014.Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 28, 2014 from noon to 4:00 p.m. at Schnider Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 29, 2014 at 4:00 p.m. at New Hope Lutheran Ministry. Schnider Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.Not yet able to crawl, Landon was just beginning to enjoy blowing raspberries, babbling, and mashed peas. Starting life really small, he was especially strong, as shown in his constant rolling and his relentless jumping in his bouncer. Notorious for fighting his sleep, but he was hardly ever fussy. He truly loved just watching his family, being held while we swayed and danced, and just being tickled. Our favorite part of our day was seeing how happy he was to see us first thing in the morning. A smile or a laugh was never far between, his bright blue eyes and glowing smile lit up the room and everyone in it.He is survived by his parents Mitchel Wanke and Zenovia White; grandparents Theresa White, Mark Abad, Donnie Watson, and Floyd and Susan Wanke; and numerous family and friends who instantly fell in love with our perfect little boy.Landon was preceded in death by his great grandmother Taurina Hendricks; great grandpas John Hendricks and Bud Hilyard.
