Kristine "Kris" Lawrence

Kris lived in the WestNevada, California, Montana, and Oregon, but Montana was home and where she spent the last many years. She went to school in Bakersfield, CA, Great Falls, Ft. Shaw and Simms, Montana. She graduated from Simms High School in 1975. Her joys were her two children, Erica and Steven, and her granddaughter, Montana. She loved her work as an EMT, and would have continued except her body wouldnt let her. Her positive attitude carried her through all lifes challenges. She would help others whenever she could and was a good friend to many.She loved Montana, especially the Sun River Country and Glacier. In recent years, she developed her love of the Sun Riverkayaks, fishing, family, and friends made the trips down the river something special.Kris is survived by her children, Erica and granddaughter Montana, (Blackfoot, Idaho), and Steven (Great Falls, Montana), her mother Janis (Alamo, CA), her siblings Craig (Lynne, Hailey, ID), Jeff (Lesa, Bemidji, MN), and Andrea (Pleasanton, CA), several nieces and a nephew, and her fathers wife Janet, who helped her with life on the ranch. She was proceeded in death by her father, Clifford.We will all miss Kris, and on September 7, 2015 we send part of her ashes to become part of the Montana ranch she loved so much.
