Kris Dale LaFontaine, 48, of Fort Benton passed away March 13, 2017 with his wife by his side.A celebration of life will be held on Friday, March 24, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at the Community Bible Center, 1600 Main Street, Fort Benton, Montana. Schnider Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.Kris was born in Great Falls, Montana on December 23, 1968 to William and LaRita LaFontaine. Kris grew up in Cascade where he attended schools and graduated from Cascade High School. After graduation Kris moved to Great Falls, where he met the love of his life, Cindy Guza. Kris and Cindy had three children together, Jamie, Jordan and Denise.Kris worked as a mechanic at numerous places that included Swains Spring Service, Sams Club, Mienke, Honda of Great Falls and worked for Chouteau County.He coached baseball for many years and enjoyed helping his wife with all her events at her work. Kris loved playing softball, golf and watching baseball with his kids. He was a huge Cleveland Indians Fan.Kris is survived by his wife, Cindy; sons Jamie and Jordan LaFontaine; daughter Denise LaFontaine; sisters Cindy (Mike) Main and Sandy (Chuck) Chrisman; brother Robert (Carol) LaFontaine; father and mother-in-law Mike and Shirley Guza; brother-in-laws Ray (Ronda) Guza and Greg (Marcie) Guza; sister-in-laws Liz Guaglio and Teresa Guza; and many nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his mom and dad, LaRita and William.
