Kimberly (Richard) Matthews, 31, of Great Falls passed away at Peace Hospice on Monday, September 16, 2013.A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2013 at OConnor Funeral Home Chapel. Reception to follow at 10th Ave VFW. Schnider Funeral Home is handling arrangements.Kimi, as she was affectionately known by those that knew her from childhood, was a smiling loving little girl. She would follow you around with her ishy, hoping you would pick her up or rock with her. Kimi had an innocence and simple joy as a child that she carried into her adult years, and all who crossed her path can attest to this.She met and married the love of her life, Mark Matthews on December 6, 2008 in Great Falls. Kim loved being a wife and mother above all else. She touched so many lives with her kindness, generosity, love and selflessness. She loved getting to know new people as they came into her life by the genuine interest in their stories. Kim knew no strangers.Kim leaves behind her husband, Mark; two sons, Garyn and Cole; parents Marlene and Wayne Stegmeier; sister Tami Seibel; niece Kendall; two nephews, Connor and Mason; grandparents Bob and Bonnie Lund; an aunt and uncle, Sue and Larry Cassell all of Great Falls; a family of loving cousins and many friends; and Al Richard.Memorials are suggested to Loeys-Dietz Foundation, PO Box 22468, Baltimore, MD 21203 or the Great Falls Childrens Receiving Home, PO Box 1061, Great Falls, MT 59401.
