Kenneth Zirschky

September 5, 1944 — July 4, 2017

Ken, everyones favorite beer man, has left this world for that Great Tavern in the sky. His journey was long, hard and his suffering is now over. He will be greatly missed. He was born in Benchland and as an adult moved to Lewistown as a Bee Keeper. In 1968, he moved to Great Falls to become a milkman, but soon realized becoming a beer man was much more fun. He retired from the beer industry in 2009 and his life was enriched with the many lasting friendships he made along the way. From then on, he always joined his buddies at the OP for coffee every morning. He married Joann Vogl in 1964 and they had three children. They later divorced. In 1986, he married Gabi. They spent many happy years at Holter Lake on the pontoon and on the deck celebrating anything with family and friends.Ken is survived by his wife, Gabi; son Zach Muse (Sarah) of Lincoln; daughter Brenda Grossman (Dave) of Great Falls and Dede Hammar (Kenny) of Scobey; brother Zane; sisters Mary, Dearlene, Jane; grandchildren Joe, Elyssa, Rennick, Emilee, Laree, Izabella, Kelby, and Danielle; numerous great-grandchildren; stepmother Sharon Zirschky; numerous stepsiblings; cousins; aunts, uncles; nieces; nephews; and many wonderful friendsHe was preceded in death by his mother Louise; father Dearl; stepmother Leta; brother Tommy; and sons Larry and Eric. Our family would like to thank the Great Falls Clinic ER; Cancer Care- Dr. Warr and Patsy; infusion staff, as well as Fresenius staff and Dr. Soldyshev and Benefis 6th Floor Comfort Care nurses and staff.
