Kaymarie Jensen

Surrounded by her family, Kaymarie Kaymer Edwards Jensen, age 58, went to be with her Lord early Saturday, February 27, 2016 morning after a courageous 10-year battle with cancer.Kaymer was born in Seattle, Washington on August 27, 1957 to Ray and Dorothea Edwards. She moved to Lake Oswego, Oregon when she was 7 and graduated from Lakeridge High School in 1975. She went on to graduate from Oregon State University in 1979 with a degree in business. Kaymer was blessed with her eldest daughter, Aubrianne, from her first marriage; she then went on to marry her loving husband, Craig Jensen, in June of 1991, who then adopted Aubrianne. Kaymer and Craig had a second daughter, Karissa. Kaymer was known for her love and trust in the Lord and her gentle quiet spirit. She was pure in heart and diligently sought to emulate Jesus in her friendships and thoughts (Phil. 4:8).She was skilled at everything she did from playing Jeopardy! to doing hardanger, and she loved sewing gifts for her friends and family. She also enjoyed caring for Gods creation through gardening and making her canine companions feel a part of the family. Kaymer enjoyed camping, finding grammatical errors, and making people laugh with her dry wit. Her greatest pride in life was helping her family to grow and become kind, God-fearing, and wise, and she had no greater joy than being Nana to her twin grandchildren, Everly and Gibson (and a baby on the way).Kaymarie is survived by her husband, Craig; their daughter Karissa Jensen; their daughter Aubrianne Kluver and favorite son-in-law Casey, and grandchildren Everly, Gibson, and one on the way; parents Ray and Dotty; brothers Bob (Barb) and Rick Edwards; cousin and lifelong friend, Susan; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and beloved friends.Friends and family are invited to Kaymaries memorial service at Hillcrest Lawn Memorial Chapel on Thursday, March 3, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. Graveside service will occur at the Kluver family ranch at a later date.
