Memorial services for Kathy at Bethel Lutheran Church on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Highland Cemetery. A light luncheon will be served at Bethel Lutheran Church. Schnider Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.Kathryn Kathy Bostic, was born on December 26, 1942 in Ironwood, Michigan to William and Ruth Reini.Kathy was raised in Ironwood MI, where she lived until her family moved to Colorado and then to Southern California. After Kathy's family relocated to Southern California she met and married her husband Alex of 48 years. Kathy lived in California until 2006, when she retired as CEO and President from Star Harbor Credit Union after 36 years in Credit Unions. Kathy was an active volunteer at Russell Country Federal Credit Union, where she served on the supervisory board in 2007 and as the board of director from 2007 until 2012 and as Chairman from 2009 to 2012 and at Bethel Lutheran Church on several committees. In addition to her volunteer work Kathy enjoyed making quilts, baby blankets and afghans for her family and friends. Kathy first visited Montana in the early 80's and fell in love with the state of Montana as well as Glacier National Park. The only thing Kathy enjoyed more than going to the park was taking folks to see the park for their first time. Kathy is survived by husband Alex Bostic of Great Falls, MT; and two sisters, Gladys (Roger) Berg of San Jacinto, CA and Nancy Rowe of Mesquite, NV; and fourteen nieces and nephews. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, William and Ruth Reini; one nephew, Alexander Rowe; and a grandniece, Jessica Becker.
