Schnider Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.June was born on October 22nd, 1918, to Harry and Grace Ann Rose in Weiser, Idaho. They soon left for Boise where June grew up. She graduated from Boise High School as a member of the National Honor Society and the drama club. She attended Whitman College majoring in English.During WWII, she returned to Boise and worked in a local physicians office. It was here that she met Lt. Tony Prince, Jr., a fighter pilot in the Pacific Theater. They were married on July 18th, 1945. June and Tony had two children, Anthony (Tony) and Kathleen. The Air Force transferred then Major Prince to Malmstrom AFB in 1956.June had a great talent as a seamstress. She became well known for her prowess and making dresses and outfits for the girls and shirts for boys. She was contacted by a representative of two men and their wives, who traveled to childrens hospitals around the country giving performances as clowns for young patients. For several years she made very complicated and elaborate clown costumes for this group. When she wasnt making clothes, coaching junior bowling, bowling in ladies leagues, playing bridge, keeping her home in order or raising kids she worked on her needle points. The tapestries she has made over the years are true works of art and show a skill possessed by few people. She would sit for hours with a specially ordered canvas, needles and yarn on her lap doing extremely intricate and difficult maneuvering of the needles and yarn. She loved to play bridge and very seldom missed the bridge clubs monthly meeting. She was the last original member, playing with the club for many years.June touched a lot of people with her sunny personality and happy outlook and is now gone, but will never be forgotten. She is survived by her son Tony Prince and wife Peggy of Great Falls; daughter Kathleen Spurr of Greer, AZ; grandson Frank Prince and wife Monica of Hall, MT; granddaughter Emily June Spurr of Los Angeles, CA; and great grandsons Peyden and Garett Prince of Hall, MT.She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister Josephine; and husband Lt.
