June E. Brady, 84, of Stanford, a homemaker, died of cancer Thursday, Oct 13, 2011, at Peace Hospice.A vigil service will be held 7 p.m. Monday, October 17, 2011, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Stanford. Funeral Liturgy will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Stanford, with burial in Stanford Cemetery. Schnider Funeral Home is handling arrangements.June was born June 30, 1927, on the family farm at Denton, Montana, the daughter of Clyde and Zadie Jeffery. She received her education in Denton, graduating from Denton High School. In 1948, June was united in marriage to Ray Brady at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Denton, and in 1949 they moved to Stanford where she raised her family. She was very proud of her family and enjoyed cooking for them. She loved watching her children and grandchildren in their sporting events. Some great times were with the family at their cabin in the Little Belt Mountains. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Stanford Womens Club and the altar society at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church.She is survived by her husband, Ray Brady of Stanford; her children, Tom (Tess) Brady of Stanford, Mary Lou (Larry) Adams of Havre, Jim (Gail) Brady of Bozeman, Eileen (Martin) Huffman of Lyle, WA, Leo (Lisa) Brady of Fairfield, Steve Brady of Helena and Dan (Leslie) Brady of Great Falls; a sister, Marian Converse of Fairfield; twelve grandchildren, Angela (Scott) Gregorich of Seattle, Addie Adams of Dillon, Colin Brady of Sidney, Dane (Kirsten) Brady of Anchorage, AK, Tami Huffman of Junction City, KS, Brady Huffman of Fort Benning, GA, Dillon Huffman of Lyle, WA, Darbi Brady of Helena, Trace Brady of Fairfield and Bailey, Keaton and Camryn Brady, all of Great Falls, and twin great-grandsons Jack and Owen Gregorich, both of Seattle.She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Betty Mae Brady; a son, Jack Brady; three brothers, Keith, Melvin and Marvin Jeffery; five sisters, Glady Schumach, Vivian Rauch, Rena Morris, Blanche Crystal and Dorothy Lee; and two granddaughters, Sara Huffman and Ellie Cait Brady.Memorials are suggested to the Stanford Beautification Program, Stanford, MT 59479 or Peace Hospice, 1101 26th St. S., Great Falls, MT 59405.
