Judith Lynne Royland, 69, passed away January 14, 2018 at Peace Hospice, where she was lovingly taken care of. A memorial service will be Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Hillcrest Lawn Memorial Chapel, 1410 13th St. S. with a reception to follow at Schnider Funeral Home. Judy was born July 20, 1948 in Great Falls, MT to Kenneth and Naomi McFarlen. Judy married her childhood sweetheart, Ronald Royland on July 5, 1966. Judy and Ron had two daughters, Ronda Guza October 1966 and Julie Robertazza, March 1979. Judy’s first job was at the Burger Master, where she was very proud to make those famous burgers and onion rings that everyone in Great Falls loved. She then moved on to be a cook at Cascade Convalescent Home, which later became Missouri River Manor, where she held many jobs. She enjoyed helping and getting to know the residents for many years. Mom’s hobbies were crocheting, spending time with family and teaching herself to bake deserts such as cream puffs and other delicious foods. Everyone loved her egg rolls. Judy also loved the great outdoors, camping and she was a lover of all animals created by God. Her greatest treasure in life was being a mom and grandma to Racheal, Eli, Eric Joe, Brianna, Emily and Ryder and great-grandma to Kentith and August. Mom also loved watching movies, music and dancing. Her laugh was contagious and she had a smile to light up the room. She was also very feisty. She loved people and would talk to anyone and everyone around her. Judy loved learning the bible and about Jehovah God. She had strong faith in the scripture Isaiah 25:8. Judy is survived by her daughters, Ronda (Ray) Guza and Julie (Tony) Robertazza; sisters Janet Zimmerman and Linda (Jerry) Finney; brothers Jerry (Fran) McFarlen, John (Karen) McFarlen; brother-in-law John “Oly” Royland; grandchildren Racheal (Eli ) Goddard, Eric “Joe” Guza, Brianna, Emily and Ryder Robertazza; twin great-grandsons Kentith and August Goddard; and many loved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Royland; her parents, Kenny and Naomi; in-laws Olav and Faye; nephew Jamie Kitterman; and brother-in-law George Zimmerman. Dear mom, grandma, great-grandma, sister, aunt, you will be missed. Love always your family.
